This quality arm is the ceremonial version of the British Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines - Officers sword (1897 pattern) and scabbard. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6206 Issue 1.
In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd.

Blade:
A forged stainless steel
blade; It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. Both sides are etched with the infantry pattern. The acid-etch is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimensions of the blade is ca. 825 mm x 6 x 25 mm.
Guard:
Pierced steel guard bearing the Royal cipher, hand-polished, nickel-plated guard. Cap made of brass, nickel-plated.
Grip:
Handle covered with genuine shark skin, wrapped with 3 silver wires.
Scabbard:
Your choice of a nickel-plated and hand-polished steel tube with 2 attachment rings, or real brown calf leather scabbard or black calf leather scabbard.
