Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines - Officers (1897 pattern) sword and scabbard

This quality arm is the ceremonial version of the Canadian Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines - Officers sword (1897 pattern) and scabbard. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications.

In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd. Cliquez pour plus d'information . for production of various ceremonial swords.

  • Blade:
    • A forged stainless steel Cliquez pour plus d'information blade. It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. The blade is etched with the Canadian Coat of Arms. The acid-etched is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimensions ca. 825 mm x 6 x 25 mm.

  • Guard:
    • Pierced steel guard bearing the Royal cipher, hand-polished, nickel-plated guard. Cap made of brass, nickel-plated.
  • Grip:
    • Handle is covered with genuine shark skin with 3 silver wires.

  • Scabbard:
    • Your choice of a nickel-plated and hand-polished steel tube with 2 attachment rings, or real brown calf leather scabbard.

  • Included Accessories:
    • Protective cloth bag.
