Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines - Officers (1897 pattern) sword and scabbard

This quality arm is the ceremonial version of the British Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines - Officers sword (1897 pattern) and scabbard. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6206 Issue 1.

In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd. Cliquez pour plus d'information . for production of various ceremonial swords.

British Infantry and Corps & Royal Marines Officers Sword: Nato Stock No.: 8465-99-973-6877.
Nickelplated Scabbard: Nato Stock No. : 8465-99-973-6853.
Brown Leather Scabbard: Nato Stock No. : 8465-99-127-9993.

Black Leather Scabbard: Nato Stock No. : 8465-99-122-1490.

  • Blade:
    • A forged stainless steel Cliquez pour plus d'information blade; It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished.
    • Both sides are etched, You choice of an:
      • Infantry pattern etch,
      • Royal Engineers pattern etch,
      • Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers pattern etch,
      • Royal Signals pattern,
      • Army Air Corps pattern etch,
    • The acid-etch is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimensions of the blade is ca. 825 mm x 6 x 25 mm.

  • Guard:
    • Pierced steel guard bearing the Royal cipher, hand-polished, nickel-plated guard. Cap made of brass, nickel-plated.
  • Grip:
    • Handle covered with genuine shark skin, wrapped with 3 silver wires.

  • Scabbard:
    • Your choice of a nickel-plated and hand-polished steel tube with 2 attachment rings, or real brown calf leather scabbard or black calf leather scabbard.

  • Included Accessories:
    • Protective cloth bag.
