Army Officer sword and scabbard

This quality arm is the ceremonial version of the Irish Army Officer sword with scabbard. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications.

In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd. Cliquez pour plus d'information for production of various ceremonial swords.

  • Blade:
    • A forged stainless steel Cliquez pour plus d'information blade. It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. The blade is etched with Irish Army Officer sword design. The acid-etch is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimensions of the blade is ca. 825 mm long.

  • Guard:
    • Solid brass, hand-polished, 24 - carat gold-plated with Irish Coat of Arms.Cap made of Solid brass, hand-polished, 24-carat gold-plated. Screw made of Solid brass, hand-polished, 24-carats gold-plated Cliquez pour plus d'information .

  • Grip:
    • Handle covered with genuine shark skin, wrapped with 3 gold-plated wires.

  • Scabbard:
    • Real brown calf leather scabbard with 24-carats gold-plated Cliquez pour plus d'information mouthpiece.

  • Included Accessories:
    • Protective cloth bag.
