This quality arm is the ceremonial version of the British Coldstream Guards Sword with scabbard. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specificationsUK/SC/6206 Issue 1.
In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd.
for production of various ceremonial swords.
Coldstream Guard Sword: Nato Stock No.: 8465-99-973-6883.
Nickelplated Scabbard: Nato Stock No. : 8465-99-973-6853.
Brown Leather Scabbard: Nato Stock No. : 8465-99-127-9993.
- Blade:
- Forged stainless steel
blade. It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. Acid etched with Coldstream Guards pattern. The acid-etch is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimension of the blade is ca. 825 mm x 6 x 25 mm.
- Guard:
- Pierced steel guard, hand-polished, nickel-plated guard. Cap made of brass, nickel- plated. Coldstream Guards crest.Available with the following guards´ crests:
- Grip:
- Handle is covered with genuine shark skin, wrapped with 3 silver wires.
- Scabbard:
- Your choice of a nickel-plated and hand-polished steel tube with 2 attachment rings, or brown leather-covered scabbard, or black leather covered scabbard.
